Saturday and Wednesday market days' and a new vintage market on the last Sunday monthly.
We've got an exciting mix of the arts, antiques and crafty, vintage styles, independant shops, quality foods and special finds. I dare not go into town as I'm always tempted into buying something new and quirky. You'll love the atmosphere and I'll point you in the right direction, it's always busy and buzzy with music, people browsing and all having a good time.
And in the B&B we've just had a group of friends here to shop! With their men to carry the bags! Good Food featured too in their stay, The Wild Garlic with Masterchef Matt Folas on their first night, and the next night they headed off armed with wind-up torches to negotiate the darks lanes and find our local. The Ilchester Ams at Symondsbury, where we recommend for the excellent food, the warm welcome from the staff and the big log fire! They agreed, and loved our friendly local, a great time was had by all and they rated the food 1st class!
