Come and enjoy some of the best panoramic views and amazing winter seascapes, did you know that West Dorset is one of this country's best kept secrets?
Did you see the recent "Secret Britain" TV programme on BBC1? the three featured places in Dorset, Golden Cap, Hell Lane and The Shrine of St Witte are all within easy distance of us and some lovely walking too and this time of the year................ all to yourselves!
Last night I watched Sir David Attenborough's amazing new programme on BBC2, 'First Life' , his journey begins in a forest near his childhood home in Leicester and finds him discovering fossils millions and millions of years old in Charmouth Forest!
This is the best time of year for fossil finding and we recommend you book onto a private fossil hunt with a local expert and can happily advise you. Join them on a guided walk along Lyme Bay's famous Jurassic coastline and they will help you find the best sites and identify unusual fossils. Then you can hunt yourselves and its ok to take home your finds too.
