Charity brunch in our Garden Cafe.

We've catered for 6 Brunches in the garden, actually it was 5 in the garden and one lunch inside today as it was rather breezey, and another 2 brunches to go!
I must say thank you to my band of trusty helpers, the list is long and I'm not naming names as I don't want to miss anyone out.  We've got a rota going and each has turning up with a delicious home baked cake for our Garden Cafe and donned pinnies to wait at table.  Special mention to hubby John who is great at cooking bacon and eggs and for supporting me on this unusual fund-raiser...........The Bra's for Breakthrough.
Over 350 on my Bra-ed wire fence, the bra's are arriving daily, by post, by hand, left hung on my doorknob!  I'm touched when people I have never met take the time to pack a bra and send me money for Breakthrough.  I think that maybe each bra has a story to tell,  representing someone special to each and everyone one of us.

This Dorset Arts week is a lengthy business..but it's fun and you get to meet lots of lovely people who appreciate the skills of our talented local artists.

See some on the work on display and for sale in our Barn.

Next brunch Monday 4th and 9th & 10th June, 12-3, raising fund for Cancer Research.
Textiles Exhibition 10 - 5pm the Barn www.highwayfarm.co.uk

Neville was titalated with the Bra-ed wire fence.......
He came up with these little gems...

Would any lambs born in the next fields............ be known as Braaa Lambs?

As the Bra Said to the Top Hat...   You go on ahead and I will give these two a lift!

That's Not a Wired Bra - THIS is a Wired Bra......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
