Fran Griffith. She is running the next Workshop on

Saturday 14^th July.  Beautiful beaded jewellery making.

 Fran is a very lovely lady, an experienced beader and first class tutor.  She teaches regularly in East Dorset.

You’re sure to enjoy the day, she teaches one design at a workshop and this time we have opted for wire and bead scribble bangles.  They are rather lovely and the design can be expanded into other ideas for you to take home and try again. Fran creates all her own designs and she's always coming up with new ideas. She will bring along a wonderful array of colourful beads and wires  and you are welcome to bring your own beads too.

 £40 + cost of beads used.

19^th July Creative textiles ~  Introduction to Shibori & dyeing with indigo

Annabel Wilson. 

Artist Annabel Wilson had some amazing work on display at her studio for Dorset Arts Week.

Shel has loved creating and making things since before she can remember. Drawing, painting, knitting, and sewing, whatever has taken her fancy. She has learnt and developed the appropriate skills to enable her to produce beautiful and well crafted paintings, products and designs.

She specializes in fabric dyeing, painting and relief printmaking. The textiles are stitched and bound using the ancient Japanese art of shibori, and patterns and designs are inspired by plants, natural forms and our surrounding stunning Dorset landscape.

Create your own unique textiles using stitch resist dyeing techniques. In the day you will create small pieces plus enough fabric for a cushion cover, bag or hanging.

 £45 per person for the whole day, includes materials. Some places left.
