Sorry no blogs recently........some facebook news and photos.

Still lots going on 2 recent excellent workshops....2 days with Pete making Hazelwood Furniture......
this is from Derek and Jenny......We spent the weekend away on a garden furniture making course at Highway Farm near Bridport. The weekend was a complete success and we both completed our chairs although exhausted at the end. Pauline's B&B was fantastic - very friendly hosts in Pauline and John; the room was spacious and very comfortable the breakfasts were amazing. Luckily the weather was kind to us with warm sunshine all the way!
Very Well Done you two!

Workshop 2. with Dennie Rose......Funky Felt Hats......busy day making with beautiful merino fibres and colour combinations.  The ladies worked and added and rubbed and produced some wonderfully unique designer winter hats.

Look out on ourwebsite for new Felting dates for 2013.
Let me know if you woul like to be added to my Workshop emailling list?

Tyneham village schoolHave you ever visited Tyneham?
Dorset's ghost village..
When guests are headed East along our glorious coastline I always recommend a peek at Tyneham, near Lulworth.  A hidden gem, not always available as you have to drive through the firing ranges of Bovington to get there........so check the road are open before you go,
and if the gates are closed...don't go!

01929 404819/400905 for opening times

This is a lovely article and background to your visit................ here's the village school, restored and just as they left it.
