Blue is the colour...

Well the weekend panned out ok, weather a little chilly but not the rain as forecast and a very gorgeous sunny day on Saturday, great for Lyme fossil Fest and our visit to the village of Cattistock for the Dorset Knob throwing competition and Fayre, it's a very dorset thing!

I think the weathermen sometime do damage to our holiday trade with their doom and gloomy predictions.......so don't listen bother to chart the weather just come down, take a chance and if you're lucky and we often are here in Bridport you'll find a warm and sunny spot!

Walking Eype Downs in the midst of heavenly bluebells, stunning and smelling so sweet. Especially blue and dense in the woods areas, lovely to see all the trees with their leaves breaking open in a sweetly bright green.  May is a lovely time to come to Dorset.
